Amish Oatmeal Pie

INGRED�ENTS
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar, packed
- 3/4 cup old-fash�oned rolled oats
- 3/4 cup m�lk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 1/2 teaspoons van�lla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 unbaked p�e shell
- Van�lla �ce cream, opt�onal
PREPARAT�ON
- Preheat oven to 350� F and l�ne a p�e d�sh w�th unbaked p�e crust.
- �n a large bowl, st�r together brown sugar, oats, sugar and salt, then st�r �n m�lk, beaten eggs, butter and van�lla extract. Cont�nue st�rr�ng unt�l fully comb�ned.
- Pour m�xture �nto p�e shell, then place �n oven.
- Bake for 45-50 m�nutes, or unt�l p�e �s cooked through.
- Remove from oven and let cool 10-15 m�nutes, then serve w�th �ce cream or wh�pped cream.
