BBQ Pork Skewers with Filipino BBQ Marinade

BBQ Pork Skewers n a stcky, sweet, and spcy Flpno style BBQ marnade. Ths grlled pork s one of my favorte thngs to grll on the barbecue.
Ingredents
  • 4 thck cut pork chops boneless
  • 4 large skewers

Marnade:
  • 1/3 cup coca-cola
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup onon fnely chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup apple cder vnegar
  • 3 garlc cloves mnced
  • 2 tsp lemon juce
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp srracha

Instructons
  1. Slce each pork chop from the short sde nto four even strps. You wll have 16 strps once you are done wth all four pork chops.
  2. n a large bowl, combne all of the marnade ngredents. Reserve about 1/4 of the sauce n the frdge for bastng whle on the barbecue later. Toss the pork strps n the remanng marnade. Cover, and place n the frdge for 4+ hours. (Ths can be done overnght)
  3. To skewer your pork chops. Place 4 pork strps on each skewer- longways.
  4. Heat your grll to medum heat. Once the grll s hot, lghtly ol the grll and place your pork skewers on. Close the ld to your grll. You want to turn the pork skewers after 3-4 mnutes. Baste the skewers n between turns. Every grll s dfferent so make sure you are montorng your pork and adjust f some are cookng faster than others. Baste the skewers wth the remanng sauce.
  5. Remove pork skewers from the grll and serve wth your favorte BBQ sde dshes!
