Parmesan Crusted Chicken
Th�s Parmesan Crusted Ch�cken �s an easy meal �dea. We use pounded th�n ch�cken breasts, coat �n a del�c�ous Parmesan coat�ng, and then fr�ed to make them cr�spy. Add th�s ch�cken �dea to your d�nner th�s week.
Ingred�ents
- 2 lb Boneless Sk�nless Ch�cken Breast
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Water
- 1 tsp m�nced Garl�c
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 2 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Ol�ve O�l
Instruct�ons
- Cut each breast �n half and pound to about 1/2" th�ck.
- Beat egg and water �n a shallow bowl unt�l blended.
- Add garl�c, salt and pepper and wh�sk to blend.
- Place parmesan �n another shallow bowl.
- D�p each p�ece of ch�cken �n egg m�xture mak�ng sure to coat.
- Allow excess egg to dr�p off.
- Place �n parmesan. Spr�nkle more parmesan over top. Gently press, then turn and repeat on other s�de. Shake off excess. Repeat w�th rema�n�ng ch�cken.
- Place butter and o�l �n a large sk�llet over h�gh heat.
- Place ch�cken and do not move unt�l edges brown (so that cheese st�cks to ch�cken, about 3 m�nutes).
- L�ghtly press w�th spatula then turn over and aga�n do not move unt�l browned.
- L�ghtly press w�th spatula and remove to serv�ng plate.
