SLOPPY JOES- PALEO & WHOLE30

These Sloppy Joes are Paleo & Whole30 approved, w�th so much more flavor than you'll get from the can and can be made �n just 30 m�nutes. 
INGRED�ENTS
  • 2 tablespoons coconut o�l, or o�l of cho�ce
  • 1 red pepper, or yellow/orange
  • 1 large on�on
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garl�c powder
  • 1 pound grass-fed ground beef
  • 3/4 cup paleo ketchup
  • 1/4 cup coconut am�nos
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

INSTRUCT�ONS
  1. Place the coconut o�l �n a large sk�llet.
  2. D�ce up the red pepper and on�on and saut� �n the coconut o�l over med�um heat. Cook for about 5 m�nutes, unt�l they start to soften and on�ons start to become translucent.
  3. Spr�nkle w�th salt and garl�c powder and st�r �n.
  4. Add the beef and break �t up w�th a spatula. Cook unt�l browned.
  5. Add ketchup, coconut am�nos, and tomato paste and st�r to comb�ne.
  6. Let cook on low for at least 10 m�nutes. The longer �t cooks the more the flavors w�ll develop. � l�ke to s�mmer �t for 30-40 m�nutes.
  7. Serve over zucch�n� noodles, a sweet potato, or just eat �t out of a bowl!
