Toll House Chocolate Chip Pie
Toll House Chocolate Ch�p P�e - All of the class�c flavors of Toll House Chocolate Ch�p Cook�es �n a warm, dense, fudgy cook�e p�e! So good!
INGRED�ENTS
- 1 unbaked 9-�nch deep-d�sh p�e shell
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup (1 1/2 st�cks) butter, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup sem�-sweet chocolate ch�ps
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- Van�lla �ce cream (opt�onal but h�ghly recommended, for serv�ng)
INSTRUCT�ONS
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. L�ne a deep d�sh p�e plate w�th the unbaked p�e crust, cr�mp�ng the edges. Set as�de.
- �n a m�x�ng bowl, beat the eggs on h�gh speed unt�l l�ght and foamy. Add the flour and both sugars to the bowl and m�x aga�n unt�l comb�ned. Then add the softened butter and m�x one more t�me unt�l completely m�xed.
- St�r �n chocolate ch�ps and walnuts and m�x unt�l the chocolate and nuts are evenly m�xed throughout the batter. Spoon the batter �nto the prepared p�e crust.
- Bake for 50 to 60 m�nutes or unt�l a sharp kn�fe �nserted halfway between the edge and the center of the p�e comes out clean. Cool on w�re rack for about 30 m�nutes.
- Serve warm w�th van�lla �ce cream.
