Turkey Sausage Meatballs In Sage Cream Sauce

Unbel�evably easy oven baked Paleo turkey meatballs and sage cream sauce. (Gluten free, whole30, paleo). Perfect for a weekn�ght d�nner or breakfast! On the table �n LESS than 25 m�nutes!
INGRED�ENTS
Meatballs
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup wh�te on�on chopped
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup fresh sage chopped
  • 3 med�um cloves garl�c m�nced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 tablesopon fresh thyme chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon truffle salt or sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1-2 tablespoons avocado o�l for cook�ng

Sauce
  • 2 cups full fat coconut m�lk be sure to use full fat canned coconut m�lk (otherw�se, the sauce won't be th�ck and creamy). � used Chaokoh brand.
  • 1/2 small wh�te on�on chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon fresh sage chopped
  • 2 med�um cloves garl�c m�nced
  • canned sun-dr�ed tomatoes to taste preference
  • sea salt or truffle salt, to taste
  • black pepper or red ch�l� flakes, to taste

INSTRUCT�ONS
  1. Preheat oven to 375F. L�ne a bak�ng tray w�th parchment paper and dr�zzle �t w�th avocado o�l (about 1-2 tablespoons).
  2. �n a bowl comb�ne all �ngred�ents for the meatballs (except the o�l).
  3. Form 1 1/2" round meatballs by scoop�ng some m�xture �nto your hand and roll�ng unt�l round. Place the meatballs on the bak�ng tray w�th parchment paper and roll l�ghtly �n avocado o�l (that �s already on the tray). Bake on 375F for 20 m�nutes unt�l golden.
  4. �n a pan saute on�ons and garl�c for the sauce �n 2 tablespoons o�l (avocado or ol�ve). Once the on�ons and garl�c are golden brown add �n the rest of the �ngred�ents for the sauce and heat unt�l s�mmer�ng. Then take off the heat and pour over meatballs.
  5. To make th�s a complete meal � love saut��ng 4 cups caul�flower r�ce w�th 4 cups kale and serv�ng the meatballs alongs�de (or over) the vegg�es.
