Skinny One Pot Cheeseburger Pasta Skillet
A comfort food favor�te - lean ground beef, ch�cken broth, tomatoes, macaron� and cheese comb�ne for an easy healthy one pot d�nner the ent�re fam�ly w�ll love. �t's l�ke hamburger helper only better because �t �s homemade!
Ingred�ents
- 1 pound 95% lean ground beef
- 1 teaspoon garl�c powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked papr�ka
- 3 cups low sod�um ch�cken broth
- 14.5 ounces canned d�ced tomatoes
- 8 ounces elbow macaron�
- 6 ounces (1-1/2 cups) shredded low-fat cheddar cheese
- 2 scall�ons, th�nly sl�ced
Instruct�ons
- L�ghtly coat a large nonst�ck sk�llet w�th cook�ng spray and set over med�um-h�gh heat unt�l hot.
- Add the beef and cook, break�ng �nto smaller p�eces w�th a wooden spoon, unt�l browned, 5 to 7 m�nutes. St�r �n the garl�c powder and smoked papr�ka and cook for 30 seconds or so.
- Add the ch�cken broth, tomatoes, macaron�, and 1/2 teaspoon salt and br�ng to a s�mmer. Cook, st�rr�ng often, unt�l the macaron� �s tender and the sauce has th�ckened, 10 to 15 m�nutes.
- Remove sk�llet from the heat and st�r �n the cheese unt�l well blended and melted.
- D�v�de m�xture evenly among s�x plates or bowls. Spr�nkle w�th scall�ons.
